THe Shrine Tour

The Shrine tour brought together youth from one of the UK’s most deprived areas (Hackney, London) with youth from each of the three host cities, each location a trouble zone for discrimination and hostility to foreigners. London’s Afrobeat Collective “The Shrine” led a series of workhops with singer Shingai Shoniwa, dancer Adura Onashile, DJs Max Reinhardt and Rita Ray and visuals artists Your Mum. At the end of each workshop series, all participants performed a show combining elements of all cultures represented.
