Application Assessments for Projects, Pitches, Programs and Grants

Are you in need of an experienced, independent assessor for arts projects, grant applications, pitches, or live performance selections? I can help.

I bring extensive experience in the evaluation of arts project designs and applications across funding programmes, international showcases, conference platforms, and pitch-based selection processes. I assess projects with care, rigour, and sector awareness—balancing artistic quality, feasibility, impact, and alignment with stated objectives.

I am regularly engaged to assess grant applications, project pitches, live showcases, and performance proposals across a wide range of artistic disciplines and contexts. I value this work deeply, as it offers insight into the artistic priorities, challenges, and innovations shaping different regions and genres.

Jennifer’s facilitation skills were nothing short of amazing. Her ability to structure a conference session that simultaneously spotlighted the perspectives of brilliant panelists while honouring the experience and wisdom of the audience was a wonder to behold. Her preparation reflected careful listening and transparent, inclusive processes, and she delivered the session with clarity and charisma.

How you benefit

My assessment expertise was first developed during seven years at the British Council’s Arts & Creative Industries Department, where I reviewed incoming funding applications across visual and performing arts programmes. This was followed by a decade of proposal and programme assessment as jury facilitator for Classical:NEXT’s annual international selection process.

I work with funders and platforms that require transparent, fair, and well-contextualized assessment, and I am accustomed to operating within formal evaluation frameworks and peer-review environments.
