Hong Kong Performing Arts Expo
One of a small, select group of international experts who pro-actively support the planning and realisation of the first Hong Kong Performing Arts Expo (HKPAX). The HKPAX aims to establish a platform for cultural leaders and arts practitioners, strengthening Hong Kong as an East-meets-West culture hub.
Program discussions for the inaugural Hong Kong Performing Arts Expo with Yvonne Tham,CEO, Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay; Alain Paré, Founder of CINARS, Winsome Chow, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council; Douglas Gautier, Chairman, Association of Asia Pacific Performing Arts Centres; CEO and Artistic Director, Adelaide Festival Centre; Tisa Ho, Executive Director, Hong Kong Arts Festival 2006-2022; Heidi Chu, HKPAX Executive Director and her friendly and well-organised team: Florence Lau, Executive Manager; Peggy Chan, Senior Manager; Angelie Chan, Senior Officer; Sylvia Luk and Joyce Ngai, Senior Officers.
Responsibilities:
To provide advice on:
- Programme
- Marketing Strategy
- Suitable cultural institutions in Europe (Arts councils, venues, festivals and more)
- Potential VIP guests
- Potential artists and arts groups for inclusion in programme and as participants
To take part in selection process for programme (live showcase performances, project pitches) together with other International Advisors
To contribute in-person to the event realisation on-site in Hong Kong in mid-October 2024
